Are you spending more than you can afford? Are you failing to save even a portion
of your paycheck? Are your bills spiraling out of control? If you answered yes to
any of these questions, chances are you're living beyond your means—and you are
not alone.
According
to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, millions of Americans are in over their
heads financially—a particularly risky trend during these volatile economic times.
How can you break the cycle and get back on track? Read on to uncover seven ways to

Quick Tip:
Go to the Movies Early and Save
If you can't wait until the latest blockbuster film comes out on DVD to see it,
consider going to an earlier show. Most movie theatres offer matinee pricing all
afternoon, which can save you up to $4 per ticket. In addition, look for complimentary
and discounted showings (some supermarkets, such as Safeway, offer free ticket promotions
to shoppers). And always try to eat a full meal before you head to the theatre:
If you don't, you could end up spending a small fortune on popcorn, candy, and soda.
