Charitable Giving

Ascend One has established several funds that allow us to practice targeted giving and allow our employees to make financial contributions, too.

The EDGE Fund
The Employee Donations & Grants Empowerment Fund was established to encourage charitable giving among employees. These funds hold contributions from team members, as well as matching funds from Ascend One. Currently, the EDGE Fund benefits two community foundations: the Columbia Foundation in Howard County and the Baltimore Community Foundation.

The Ascend One Corporate Fund
This fund helps support Ascend One employees in community leadership positions, to advance our goal of strengthening families and advancing education, and fund other efforts to build community.

Ascend One Fund for Financial Literacy
Ascend One has made a 10-year commitment to create a $5-million endowment to fund grants and support educational programs, scholarships, research and more to improve financial literacy and money-management skills among students from grade school to college. We feel it's a natural extension of what we do every day, giving kids the tools to manage their money and create a bright financial future.
